Tony's Story

Here's what we know so far about Tony and his soon to be released "Rush."


Tony Amherst was spawned from suburban United States. For the most part, his upbringing is a mystery. Some have rumored about incarcerations, abuse…mental facilities. What’s known for sure is that TA spent the better part of his life on the road, here and there, near and far. So far his output has been restricted to mostly to soundtracks for gay pornographic for companies like Berlin’s Cazzo and New York’s High Drive.


‘Rush’ is a sprawling hour and a half collection of electronic instrumentals culled form TY’s years on the road; in the bars, dark rooms and parks of the world, behind the camera and in front of it. Sound quality and ideas very from track to track, depending on mood and whatever recording facilities were close to hand. The sound is indulgent, deep, sly, and nitrous. Says Tony, “The music is best enjoyed, in any order, during any and all erotic encounters and / or when one is right on the cusp of sleep. In other words, listen during those time when unconsciousness sets in and voices are heard, thus the music itself becoming a conversation.”
