Tony arrives in Berlin.

Tony Amherst has arrived in Berlin at an undisclosed location. Only one photographer was allowed to document Tony in his hotel room; his good friend Nancy Rosebud. House Of Rush was allowed an exclusive viewing of the shoot today.

Here Tony is seen relaxing in anticipation of his debut performance Saturday night at Exile Gallery.

Rush album art by Christophe Chemin revealed!

Renowned French artist and illustrator Christophe Chemin has contributed a beautiful and haunting image to grace the cover of Tony Amhert's long awaited release, Rush. A long time fan of Chemin, Tony was smitten with his drawing immediately, remarking, "What Chritophe did was nail a piece of each and every one of the 23 tracks on my album into one captivating image."

Tony Amherst to perform live in Berlin!

Tony Amherst will be making an extremely rare live appearance at the Exile Gallery in Berlin, July 31st 2010. The notoriously reclusive Tony was introduced to gallery owner Christian Siekmeier by good friend (and some say doppelgänger) Snax. Convinced by Siekmeier to come out of hiding, Tony will perform selections from his forthcoming CD in the gallery simultaneously during an exhibition curated by Billy Miller. Miller is the founder of the queer smut 'zine, Straight To Hell and Tony's performance will coincide with the release of a brand new edition of this trailblazing publication.

A limited edition CD release of Rush will be available for purchase at the gallery, with a special sleeve designed by artist Christophe Chemin.
